2013

Hello and Happy New Year everybody.  Hope that your 2013 is off to great start, full of peace, joy, and prosperity.  I think the beginning of a new year brings a lot of goodness with it.  It seems like the perfect time to reflect and open up to the infinite possibilities for positive change that we all have before us…all the time.  The first step is to conquer all of the little challenges we face on a daily basis (aka “fighting the good fight”).  After that, well, we’re golden!  May we all be victorious in this endeavor…

The BOH were very fortunate to be invited on Delbert McClinton’s 19th annual Sandy Beaches Cruise, which took place the second week of January.  We went from Fort Lauderdale to Turks and Caicos then San Juan, Puerto Rico then back to Fort Lauderdale.  Both port days were great (plopping down on a beach in Grand Turk was the highlight for me) but the music and the hang on the boat was where it was at.  I’ve been a huge Delbert fan for years so being around him and his band and all of the other great artists was an amazing experience that I won’t soon forget.  Most of the people on the boat had been going for years so there was a lot of camaraderie between the musicians and the fans.

And as always here are a few records that I have really been enjoying of late.  Hope you can check ’em out if you haven’t already.
